She attended Tunwase Nursery and Primary School, Ikeja, for her basic education.

Kehinde made her debut appearance in the entertainment scene after participating in the Miss Commonwealth Nigeria pageant in 2003 and emerged among the top ten finalists. A year later, she auditioned for and got into the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria contest and could not emerge even among the top five. In 2007, she emerged as the new face of Lux, bagging an endorsement deal with the soap company.

Wale Adenuga’s Superstory series, Everything It Takes, starred the Nigerian actress and she played the role of Caro. She has also starred in other Wale Adenuga productions including Papa Ajasco and This Life. In Desperate Housewives of Africa, the Nigerian remake of the American hit series, Kehinde portrayed the character of Kiki Obi. She also acted alongside Toyin Abraham in the Nigerian movie Prophetess.
