What is Pastor Enoch Adeboye Net Worth?

Pastor Enoch Adeboye is a Nigerian pastor and General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God who has a net worth of $39 million.

Childhood

The Southern Region of British Nigeria, then known as Ifewara, is where Enoch Adejare Adeboye was brought into the world on March 2, 1942. His family was extremely poor when he was born.

Education

Beginning in 1956, Enoch Adejare Adeboye attended Ilesha Grammar School in Ilesha, Osun State. In order to finish his initial degree, Enoch Adejare Adeboye first traveled to the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) in Nsukka, but due to the Nigerian Civil War, he instead finished it at the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), earning a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics in 1967.

He married Foluke Adenike in the same year. They both have four kids: Adeolu Adeboye, Bolu Adubi (formerly Adeboye), Dare Adeboye, and Leke Adeboye. He graduated from the University of Lagos in 1969 with a Master’s in Hydrodynamics. From the University of Lagos, he earned a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics in 1975. The University of Lagos employs him as a professor of mathematics.

Evangelical Works

Prior to being appointed as a pastor by Pa. Josiah Akindayomi in 1975, Adejare Adeboye was a member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God since 1973 and worked as a translator. In 1981, he was elected to lead the church as General Overseer.

Before resigning from his work as an academic to become a full-time preacher, he served in the post at Unilorin for three years as a part-time employee. Prior to Adeboye becoming General Overseer, the church was not well recognized.

As of (March 2017), the church has branches in around 198 countries, with more than 14,000,000 Nigerians as members. According to Adeboye, he wants a church to be five minutes by foot or five minutes by car away from every resident in developed cities and emerging cities, respectively.

Adeboye acknowledges that he preaches prosperity theology and does not dispute this “Because they focus on the present rather than merely the future, Pentecostals have such tremendous influence. God could accomplish certain things for us right now, even though we have to worry about heaven.”

Pastor Adeboye quit as General Overseer in 2017 as a result of new regulations that limited non-profit leadership to those with no more than 20 years of experience and who were under 70 years old (still the general overseer up to date).

In honor of his 80th birthday in 2022, Adeboye’s charity gave eight dialysis units, an electrical generator, and reverse osmosis water purification equipment to Wuse District Hospital.

Relationship

On December 17, 1967, Folu Adeboye and Adeboye were united in marriage. He has four children—three sons and a daughter—and countless grandkids as a result of his marriage. Pastor Enoch Adeboye lost his son Dare Adeboye on May 4, 2021, when he passed away at the age of 42.
