She was born and brought up in Lagos State, Omotola Jalade is of Ondo origin. Tayo and Bolaji Jalade, her two younger brothers, and her parents were all part of her upbringing.

She was raised by her mother Oluwatoyin Jalade, formerly Amori Oguntade, who worked for J.T. Chanrai Nigeria, and her father Oluwashola Jalade, who worked for the YMCA and the Lagos Country Club.

She attended the following academic institutions: Command Secondary School in Kaduna from 1987 to 1981, Chrisland School in Opebi from 1981 to 1987, and Oxford Children School in Santos Layout from 1987. (1988–1993).

Following a brief stint at Obafemi Awolowo University, she completed her study at Yaba College of Technology (1996–2004), where she studied Estate Management. She originally hoped to land a management position. In the meantime, as she anticipated her university results, she started designing to make a livelihood.

While escorting a friend to an audition, Ekeinde had his first acting debut. The venom of Justice, aimed directly by Reginald Ebere, featured her in her debut acting performance in 1995. The film’s leading part was granted to her.

In the 1995 film Mortal Inheritance, she portrayed a sickle-cell patient who was struggling for her life despite possessing little chance of success. This was her first important part.
