On 7 February 1958, Nkem Owoh was brought to the world in Amagu Village, Udi Town in Enugu State, Nigeria.

Career
His acting career kickstarted in his university days when he usually appears in different film and television productions.
Osuofia became very popular due to a song he performed that bothers around advanced fee fraud “I Go Chop Your Dollar” which was later featured in a movie called The Master where he acted in the role of a scammer.
An embargo was later placed on the song by the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission and Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
As a result of an investigation that lasted for seven months, Nkem was apprehended in (the Bijlmermeer neighborhood in the Amsterdam Zuidoost borough) of Amsterdam, the Netherlands in 2007 by the Dutch police over a crime labeled “Operation Apollo.”
Osuofia alongside 111 persons where apprehended during a musical show as suspects in fraud gambling and violating immigration law. He was later set free in November 2009.
In eastern Nigeria, Nkem was kidnapped with a 15 million naira ransom demand and his family members allegedly paid 1.4 million naira as ransom instead.

Nkem Owoh is married to Ngozi Nkem Owoh and she birthed two daughters.
