Munachi Gail Teresa Abii Nwankwo was birthed on the 5th of November, 1987, in Port Harcourt. Although she hails from Imo state, she was raised in Port Harcourt. Muna completed her secondary education at Federal Government Girls’ College, Abuloma. She got her first degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from Benson Idahosa University.

Career

Muna won the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant in 2007. Later, she represented Nigeria at Miss World in China. Before this time, she pursued a career as a rapper and was part of the group The Specimen A and featured on Terry Da Rapman’s My PH Girl. She has also performed with the Ijaw Boyz as a guest artist.

At the beginning of her solo rap career, she used the stage name Babyrella before changing to Muna. She has written songs for J Martins and Waje.
